Our History
Blessed and inspired by Sree Narayana Guru, Sree Narayana Public School, Kollengode was incepted in the year 1999. It is run by Sree Narayana Educational and Charitable Society, Kollengode. In 2004 affiliation was granted to us by CBSE, New Delhi. NOC issued in the year 2001. In 2011-12 academic year our school has been upgraded as a Senior Secondary School. Our Provisional Affiliation is upto 2029. We have been providing quality education at affordable cost to the not-so-rich people of Nenmeni and surrounding areas. With a humble beginning with 33 students in 1999, we have grown to a full fledged Senior Secondary School with about 1446 students in the last twenty five years.
CAMPUS
The School is functioning in its own buildings and the area of the school campus is 22838 Square Meters. The School has four permanent RC buildings consisting of 54 class rooms, well equipped Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths Laboratories, Audio-Visual room, Library, Digital Class Rooms, Kids Park and playground area of 50873 Square Meters. Affiliation for Senior Secondary Class (Science, Commerce & Humanities) has been granted by CBSE, New Delhi.
LOCATION OF THE SCHOOL
The School is situated at Nemmeni, in Kollengode Panchayath by the side of Kollengode-Pollachi Road. It is about 19 kms south east of Palakkad Town and about 2 Kms from Kollengode Town.
AIM OF THE SCHOOL
The chief aim of the institution is to enable the students to know and develop in a full fledged manner, their physical, mental, social, moral and spiritual potentialities. It strives to promote patriotism, spirit of national integration, pride in our cultural, heritage and a scientific outlook. Fellowship, team spirit, service and dignity of labour are given high importance along with intellectual pursuits.
